Wedding cards are read in a stack of fifty, often weeks after the day. Your job is to be brief, warm, and specific enough that they remember it was you.
How to write it
- Address both people, even if you only know one well.
- If you have a memory from the day or the relationship, lead with it.
- Don't promise advice unless they asked for it.
- Keep it under five sentences. The thank-you note will be shorter than yours.
